Safeguard Enterprise Windows 7 Service Pack 1 issues

Is anyone having issues with SGE on Win 7 sp1 64 bit or recognize these symptoms?  The client installs and it says it synchronizes but it does not pull down keys/certs from the management server.  The computer shows up on the inventory but it does not have registered the operating system, user, any other info.  At logon the sophos credential provider/authentication service is not coming up or being used.

    I'm running a Dell E5410 laptop with SGN 5.50.8 and Win 7 Pro SP1 x64, and I haven't had any of the problems that you're experiencing.  But, I've had issues with bad installs or software incompatibility causing problems like that, and usually a reinstall of the client helps fix the problem (including uninstalling the incompatible software before reinstalling the SGN client).
