Video driver conflict in 5.50.x

Came across a strange problem: on a Dell Latitude D620 laptop with NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M video chipset, the moment 5.50.x client is installed with DE and DX, upon reboot video goes down to 800x600 and display adapter has an yellow bang in Device Manager and "This device cannot start (Code 10)" error.
I have no clue why would encryption and device drivers butt heads, but it's definitely the case here. Uninstalling SGN client takes care of the issue.
Anyone has seen this before?

  • Support resolved this, Altf + F4 hotkey at POA took care of the issue. I have no idea, though, how would changing resilution in POA affect Windows driver conflict, I was under assumption two subsystems were completely separate??
    Anyway, there's your fix.
