    I had that issue happen with SG 5.6, it was related to drivers in the embedded POA stack communicating with the file filter driver.  It was a hardware related issue with certain types of the HP Small Form Factor desktops and full desktop line, the 8000/8200 series didn't all come with the same chipset even though the chipset identifies the same causing a few issues.  Was fixed in SG6.

    What version are you using?  Also what OS?  What hardware?  More information is needed

    If you're using windows XP are you using a 3rd party GINA or "sign on manager" application of any kind like the Trivoli Access Manager or something along those lines?
