SafeGuard Easy 5.5

Dear Sophos Team,

I'm about to deploy SGE to our company machines.

Actually I have used the policy editor and use my special administrative logon for it.

I have not yet found out how to add more user accounts - our helpdesk technicans need access to perform a challenge/response procedure, while on the other hand they should not be able to manipulate policies.

How can I do this, what steps do I have to take ?

    welcome to the forum and thank you very much for posting your question. The functionality that you are looking for is actually part of SafeGuard Enterprise Management Center and is not included into the Policy Editor.

    You would have to use the Management Center

  • Thanks Dan ! We're talking about a global roll out (thousands of clients, multiple international support sites / local helpdesks).

    Our head stuff already decided to buy Safeguard Easy 5.50 licenses some time ago, my task is 'just' to make it all run now.

    Maybe SGEasy is the wrong product for our needs. Would it be recommended to use the Enterprise Edition for this task ?

    talking about such a setup I would definitely recommend using SafeGuard Enterprise.

    Maybe you want to talk to your sales representative and purchase a day of Professional Service to create a concept based on your needs.
