Setting up SafeGuard Enterprise for the first time and have several questions.
Installed the Policy Editor on a 2003 Server (the startup guide says you can later install it on mulitple adminstrator computers, but I have yet to find instructions on how to do this)
Created a policy for our laptops and a configuration package.
Ran the Preinstall package on a test laptop (Dell Vostro 1000)
Ran the SDEClient package
Ran the Laptops configuration package created using the Policy Editor
Rebooted and eventually found the right combination of HotKeys to get back into Windows 7 (F6, F7, F5)
(I was not asked for any login credentials in POA, it simply booted to a normal Windows login screen - is that to be expected, did I make a mistake in my configuration?)
Ran SGNHWInfo and sent off the results and now the system is encrypting the hd
Seems like I might have avoided the HotKey hassle be integrating the latest POACFG, but cannot figure out how to do that.
How do I integrate the POACFG and into which package do I integrate it?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
