Safeguard Enterprise: Server connection check policy

We are just about to implement the server connection check policy in Safeguard Enterprise to ensure our mobile devices regularly connect to the network for virus signature updates and asset tracking. Is there a way of warning the user a number of days prior to the connection check policy locking the workstation? If not is there a plan to implement this feature?

    Hi Big_Dawg,

    welcome to the forum and thank you very much for submitting this one.

    With regards to your question I can tell you that there is no setting to define any message box as requested. Reason for this is that the feature you are referring to is a security feature which will lock down the machine after X days that is hasn't talked to the server.

    You should be really careful with this feature when applying the policy to a notebook that is not connected to the back end regularly else you might get a lot of calls from users out in the field requesting Challenge / Response to unlock their machines ;)
