Encryption won't complete

Hi,

I've installed sophos encryption on a macbook pro running 10.6.5 and, for some reason, the encryption process just won't complete. It get's to around 98.4% and then reports and error stating it can't finish the encryption process. The software is sophos safeguard version 55. I have successfully installed and run this same software on a number of other machines with no problem. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give :)
