gina.dll missing, blue screen on login. HELP

Hello All,

I am the ET on an offshore platform. One of our employees came to me with his laptop. He said that a window popped up asking if he wanted to move "gina.dll" and he replied NO. Since then the computer goes to a blue screen when the login window is supposed to appear. Normal behaviour when gina.dll is missing.

Problem is I can not log in using safemode either. His password doesn't work. Not sure if it's gina.dll related or not.

I can log in to SOPHOS but it will not boot from external medium.

Any help???
