Can't log in computer, after installed SafeGuard Enferprise

I have two installation program:SGNClient_5.40.0.152.msi and Internal_SunGard_5.35.1.11.msi. The normal process for install SafeGuard Enferprise into my company computer is: install the SGNClient_5.40.0.152.msi first and then isntall the Internal_SunGard_5.35.1.11.msi.

But at this time, when I was installed the SGNClient_5.40.0.152.msi,it said the "error 1406" three times, I ignored it, and finally it showed: installed successful. I restarted computer without  installing Internal_SunGard_5.35.1.11.msi and then realized I can't log in computer at all. It said: 

it said The current SafeGuard@Enferprise settings do not allow your logon.

    Saw this a couple of times and I'm trying to remeber how we got round it!

    It might be worth trying to connect to the registry remotely and changing the login gina from sggina.dll to msgina.dll (if you can)

    No sggina.dll found.

    Just found msgina.dll.

    Any adives would be most appreciated!!!

    Am I right in that you can get to the Windows Gina but that is about it before the system either crashes or fails to let you login?

    If this is the case, can you not boot into SafeMode?

    I have seen issues in the past whereby a chkdsk was not run prior to installing SafeGuard and both Windows and SGN got a bit upset with each other.

    I had to go through the below...

    - Boot into SafeMode

    - Run the registry editor, locate HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal

      Only choose minimal if you do not select "SafeMode with networking support"

    - Create a new key called MSIServer and close the registry editor

    - Open services.msc

    - Start the Windows Installer Service

    - Uninstall SafeGuard

    - Go back into the registry editor and remove the aforementioned key

    - Copy the data off the system as a backup, then run chkdsk and retry the installation of SafeGuard.

    The above is only assuming that you haven't encrypted the Windows volume, be careful if you have encrypted the box (the above is most likely not a Sophos supported rollback option though)
