ShowSyncEncPolicyn.exe Tool

Hello

I'm trying to find the ShowSyncEncPolicyn.exe tool detailed in this article:

This article details that it should be in the Tools directory of the SafeGuard Enterprise software delivery:

I can't find the tool anywhere... am I missing something? Any help appreciated.

    Hi  

    Could you please confirm if you have installed Synchronised Encryption or location-based file encryption? You can search for the tools under C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\SafeGuard Enterprise\Client folder.

    I have Synchronised Encryption installed.

    I've checked C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\SafeGuard Enterprise\Client on a few endpoints but can not find the tool.

    If you have installed Synchronised Encryption installed, you will find the tool under the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\SafeGuard Enterprise\FileEncryption. I have attached the screenshot for your reference.

    Thank you so much for your help.

    We have a number of endpoints that are still at SGE 8.00.6 because of performance issues with SGE 8.20 and our network applications. I was trying to fault find on one of these endpoints, and SGE 8.00.6 does not have the tool as part of the installation. When I move to an SGE 8.20 endpoint I can now find the tool.
