Sophos Safeguard Authentification

Hi All,

Another question regarding Sophos Safeguard authentification. (5.60)

We dont use Power authentification, but after Windows authentification we are always asked by Sophos to enter our password to complete the logon.

Is it a normal "Feature" or am doing something wrong?

    I also have 1 user that is having this problem (out of over 125).  Windows 7 x64, user logs in using domain credentials, and then is prompted for a Sophos SafeGuard Logon afterwards. SafeGuard Enterprise Client v5.60.

    Hi there,

    thank you very much for posting.

    The user is likely not using the SafeGuard credential provider but the one from Windows. In that case the Authentication Application is coming up.

    Please ask the user to use the CP with the key symbol / vault lock symbol (as of 6.0) to avoid that. Should also be explained in the user manual.
