Hitman Pro Alert Cannot be Installed

Hi, 

I am running Windows 10 Home 64bit 21H2.

I am trying to install Hitman Pro Alert using the file downloaded from the official web page. It is version 3.8.19.923. 

However, when I run the .exe file, and then click on Install, a message pops up: There are HitmanPro.Alert files pending for removal during boot. Please restart your computer before reinstalling HitmanPro.Alert. 

I already restarted my system, and no HitmanPro.Alert was installed on my system (I could not find anything related, not even in the registry). 

What shall I do? What are the files that are pending for removal?

    Thank you for reaching us, When you mentioned Hitmanpro Alert was it the stand-alone version that isn’t part of Sophos endpoint? If so? then please reach out to the Hitmanpro alert support team directly through their support team @support@hitmanpro.com.
    If the issue is the HMPA which is incorporated into our Sophos endpoint please share the logs that can be found under the temp folder. "Sophos HitmanPro Alert install log.txt".
