9.105-9 extremely slow!

We updated to the latest v9 release today: 9.105-9
Now we see, a massive decrease of performance when loading websites over the proxy.

Whats always slow now is google. it takes 30 or more seconds to display the search results.

In the same time other sites may load normally. Sometimes even this takes very long time.

Disabling caching did not help.

Bypassing the proxy shows, that it's not a WAN problem. Sites load in seconds then.

    What UTM , hardware ? Software ?
    How many users ?
    Single or dual scan ?
    Please give more info.

    Users - max 500. But does not depend on. Currently due to holidays, only half of them is here. And now, it's out of business hours and still so slow.

    Dual Scan.

    Admin Web GUI is responsive during the permanent hangs. CPU Load ist 5%. Ram is - as always, over 70%

    From what ver you updated ? 8 ?
    What engine are you using ?
    IPS is on ?
    Please SSH your system and run top , leave it to run and post here the results.
    What is the CPU and RAM status most of the time ?
    How much RAM you have on the appliance ?

    Hi ,

    With IPS off 2Gb will be OK for that amount of user.
    With it on probably it will fillip your RAM dramatically .
    Are you using single or dial scan ?

    its Dual Scan, but it looks like this Q/A is not going to a solution.

    Please switch to single scan and use avira as default scan.
    If you are using proxy profiles please switch them all to single .
    Please inform.

    Looks like. To help a little by asking useful questions: Was it working fine with same configuration before the update (and which version was it before) or did you change something?

    Hi ,

    That's was one of the questions I asked him :-)
    He answered that he upgraded from 9.104 , so I don't see why there should be a segregation of performance too .
    That's why I suggested what I did .
    From lots of experts here and from my experience too this can help him.
    I asked him to inform do we can all see if its helping or not.
    Hope we will get answered by him and maybe it will lead for something.

    No. If you didn't change config and things got slow after an update, there is no need to change more stuff. Otherwise it's voodoo.
