DNS resolution of fw-notify.net

File downloads which normally display the status page are instead telling me the browser can't resolve downloader.fw-notify.net.  A command-line nslookup fails. Even if I specify one of the hosteurope.de systems as the name server, I get lookup failures.  

Is there anything I can do on my end to make this work, or am I at the mercy of the fw-notify.net name servers to be working correctly?

    Is there a way that we can upgrade our Astaro appliance to v7 or v8?  If not, should we just buy a new appliance when our support is over?  It seems silly to be paying thousands for support of a really old product ...

    What version of the appliance do you have?  If a 220, there's a great trade-in available that gets you a new 220 at less than half-price; it has a faster processor and 1GB of RAM.  V8 isn't available, but there is a fairly straight-forward migration to V7.  You should contact your reseller.

    Hi, the current version is 7.500, which needs at least 1GB RAM. Do you know how much RAM is in your 220?
    You might be able to figure it out from Reporting-Hardware and look at the memory usage graph, otherwise you could run 'free' on the console.

    Your reseller should be able to provide you with an installer for 7.5, an updated license, and installation instructions.
    There's no charge for the updated license.

    If your appliance is a 220v1, you can trade it in for a new one at a discount, if it's a v2, you can get a RAM upgrade from your reseller, and if its a v3, you should already have 1GB.
