I recently upgraded from ASL 4.x, and now suddenly two different Windows Media Center PCs stopped downloading the program guide data and throwing errors that the internet connection wasn't present. I did verify both PCs did have internet access.
At first, I thought a simple packet filter rule would fix the problem. It did not. I also made sure all services were allowed in the HTTP proxy. The odd thing, is I didn't see a log of the packets being dropped in LiveFilter. I tried a full re-install of Astaro 6.0 from sratch adding just 1 simple packet rule to allow everything through the firewall as a test, but even then the media center guide wouldn't download. I temporarily replaced my ASL6 box with a linksys router and now the guide downloads fine.
How can I find out what in Astaro is blocking the site? As I've said, I have tried enabling everything.
Thanks for any pointers.
John
