hotmail and clients dont work with https enabled.

welp..with the http proxy out of hte way OE6 still fails getting to hotmail..hotmail rejects the password..if i go to hotmail it works fine.

http://www.hotmail.com works fine, but I would like to use the clients like I can with https proxy turned off, however, I would like to use the https proxy so I can use the features I paid for.

I had to change my password to something alpha numeric without special characters for OE to connect.  you may wnat to check your password.

Yes, this happened to me and after many hours of trying everything ( repair outlook, repair windows xp,etc.), by chance I discovered the program ad/subtract was the culprit. Look for some filtering program that is blocking the email.
