Android to Astaro VPN

I have seen a couple of threads with people attempting and successfully getting a vpn connection between the Astaro Gateway and an Android phone. 

I have been trying to brute force my way through setting it up and I am coming up with nothing. Would someone be willing to share with me their L2TP Ipsec configuration so I can attempt to mimic it?

Upon achieving a successful connection I will immediately proclaim your brilliance to all of twitter.

    Some guys in the other thread (see my post above) solved this by using another APN of their ISP. 
    I'm not at telekom and my ISP (Vodaphone) doesn't have other APNs for these services. 
    So I "solved" it for me by changing from  L2TP over IPSec to SSL/OpenVPN and this works quiet good!

    There'll be a fix for L2TP with Android in the next UTM 9 beta due March 29th 2012.

    If you can't establish a connection with L2TP because your provider NATs you, you should now be able to do so. Android 2.2 worked, but they changed the local L2TP port in 3.x which broke the NAT case. So, if your IPsec log says that your phone is NATed this might now work. Please check it out an provide feedback in the beta forum if you are still not able to connect with UTM 8.920.
