Remote Access & Host file & 3G

Hello All
I have two threads 
first of all , i have ASG 120 , enabled remote access SSL VPN ,
and install the software ,
Now , i habe been informed that i need to modify the Host file in my windows folder / system32 / to write the following :

Astaro static IP                          Asg120

so i could connect to my firewall whereever i am 
but is the the right step to ????? 
Now i am connecting to Astaro with my static ip instead of Asaro static IP !!
i tried to modify the host file , it is right , i tried to use admin permission , the same .

what should i have do ?

2nd :
when i usa ADSL Line , Astaro used to connect perfectly SSL VPN and outlook is connected to exchange but when i use 3G access , outlook is trying to connect , and no connection between outlook and server !

is there anyway to raise the bandwidth connection ?>

    Oh, the commands are supposed to run on the ASG itself, no wonder I've never seen the strange error messages. =) To log in to ASG you need to enable SSH and download PuTTY, which is a free SSH client for Windows. Use the loginuser to get in and then `su -` to switch to root. Then issue the commands from above to see if any of the Outlook packets make it through the tunnel. Best would be to post the output in this thread if you are unsure.

    Sorry, I'm too busy at the moment to dig further into this. In the dump you posted everything looks fine at first sight. What exactly did Outlook say when you captured the packets?

    Okay Man , Take your time but please go back once you are free ..
    Outlook still says :
    Trying to connect then after a while , disconnected 
    but as i said , when i usse ADSL connection , Connected directly

    Please Dont waste your time in replying now , unless you are free

    OK, back on this.

    We need to find out now if all the packets make it through to the other side of the tunnel. You need to install and run Wireshark on the Windows side to capture packets in parallel to a `tcpdump -ni tun0 -w asg.pcap` an the ASG. Select the "Astaro SSL VPN Adapter" as capture interface. There'll be no output on the ASG. Everything will be written into the file asg.pcap. PM me this file and the saved capture from the Windows side and I'll compare them.
