[7.490]IPSec VPN unable to browse the internet

Hi All

WIth firmware 7.490 iphone v3 can now connect via ipsec vpn to my astaro .I am able to browse the portal and webadmin but unable to browse the web. I have attached all relevant info.IPSec VPN pool is configures: HTTP Proxy(transparent mode),DNS,NTP,POP3 Proxy,Masquerading,FTP . Could you please help me on that as I have any defined on the networks on the ipsec vpn? Do i need to configure the proxy on my iphone?

Whenever I am trying to browse any webpage on my iphone, I immediately get the notification that iphone is not connected to the internet (pic also attached)

    Did you add the masquerading  rules to for VNP (ipsec) pool to your external WAN interface under Network Security -> NAT?

    If you want to surf via VPN using the proxy you also have to add the VPN Networks to Proxy's source networks.

    I am still having the same issue with 7.500.

    I am having the same issue.

    However I noticed under your Nat Masq rule your are natting the ipsec pool.

    You could try using the VPN Pool(Cisco).

    Depending on what else may be using that VPN Pool(IPSEC).

    It looks like you might not have "VPN Pool (IPsec)" in 'Allowed Networks' on the 'Global' tab of 'HTTP/S'.  I don't think you need to masq the VPN Pool if the only traffic is supposed to be through the Proxy.

    Hi All

    I can confirm that vpn pool is under the allowed networks on the global tab and under specific http profiles.MASQ is in place as well. However When trying to load a page via iphone, I immediately get the notification (see post 1) so not even sure if it's a ASG issue

    Barry i can't even see the traffic in the logs. 

    To troubleshoot, I've removed the "Automatic packet filter rules" and I can see the block when trying to connect to webadmin and user portal

    I've re enabled the "Automatic packet filter rules" and when trying to connect to the net I see no blocks on the packet log
