Linksys ipsec vpn

Help.

I have a Linksy BEvp41 V1 with firmware v 1.41.1
I have followed the guide at darkpaws web site setting this up but I get INVALID_ID_INFORMATION errors.  The Darkpaws doc is for v4.2X of Astaro, I'm running Verison 5.

Any ideas?    I have called Linksys multiple time and am going to try with olderver firmware.

Yes

he has these two rules set correctly. I mean rules on the linksys site. I´m no specialist in linksys , so I´m looking for someone who has that linksys running with VPN

There are no rules on the Linksys end, only the config options for IPSEC VPN which are the same as http://www.freeswan.ca/docs/BEFVP41/
this config works fine in ASL 4.02x so there must be something different about ver 5.

I have brought up a IPcop system an I am at the same point I was with the Linksys

I get the tunnel up. I can ping from the remote (linksys or ipcop side) to the Astaro. I can't pass traffic in the other direction. (Astaro side to office)

NMap does not find anything alive port open on working servers on the 192.168.1.X network.

When I use Ethreal and do a trace, I see the request and nothing else.

Since the IPcop and Linksys devices behaves the same is it logical that it's on the Astaro side?

Found It.

I had created a Snat rule on the Astaro under NAT/Masqurading. Disabled it, and Magic!!!!!

Case closed.

Don´t know but this forum will help...

In the future i will ask this question if someone has problems setting up a vpn [:)]
