Direct Access to my Modem - No Route to Host

Hi,
On occasion I want to check some of the stats on my Modem 
Problem: If I try connect to my Modem Sophos Reports:  The content could not be delivered due to the following condition: No route to host

My Setup =  Sophos UTM 9.305-4 (Home Edition)
LAN (eth0) = 192.168.1.x (Internal Network)
WAN (eth1) = 192.168.0.1  (Modem that I want to Browse)
 
Question:  Is there a way I can log into my Modem (192.168.0.1) without having to physically plug a PC into it.  I added a second IP to my PC (192.168.0.2) which allows me to Browse to the Modem (but cant acess due to no Sophos Route setup).  

Could somebody advise on best method of creating a  “Route to Host” on Sophos please.

    use the additional address feature.  stick a 192.169.0.2 addy on the wan interface...that should make it work..[:)]

    Hi, thanks for quick reply. How will that work? 
    I did as advised and under "Interfaces" I added a "New Additional Address" of 192.168.0.2 and applied it on WAN interface. I then enabled it. 
    How does this allow me access to 192.168.0.1 (Modem) from the LAN? Doesn't work.

    Do I need to setup a Firewall Rule or NAT or the likes?

    it depends on how you have your firewall setup.  If you ahve it very strict then yes you will need a rule...[:)]

    Which leads back to my Initial query, What needs to be added to make it work. I don't have a "Strict" Network and is an "Out of the Box" Sophos UTM" install. 
    So what Firewall Rule would now need to be added. 

    Reminder: I want to be able to connect to my Modem on 192.168.0.1 (Which is eth1) from my PC which (for now) is 192.168.0.49.  The Sophos LAN eth0 (192.168.1.1) .

    Its the combination of steps that is confusion me (sorry...am new and just learning)

    it's been awhile since i did this one..make a rule that internet to the additional ip addy any service allow...see if that works.

    Sorry........your description is hard to understand. Are you saying to do this (am guessing here)?

    Firewall Rule
    Sources: Internet ipv4
    Services:  ANY
    Destination: WAN (192.168.0.2)

    if still no worky i'll try to get it working on mine..i just replaced my comcrap modem with a motorola one..i'll have to find out it's ip addy..[:)]

    HI, I really appreciate your quick responses however I am not understanding your replies.  

    Firewall Rule#1
    Sources: Internet ipv4
    Services:  ANY
    Destination: WAN (192.168.0.2) 
    ALLOW

    Plus (is this what you mean by reverse?

    Both are Turned on. his doesn't work (might be my above setup)?

    I am not in a rush so would really appreciate if you try on yours and see what method you end up using.  Its one of those things I would love to know how to setup :-)
    Currently, I have to go to the Modem and connect a CAT5 directly to it to login to check status which is a pain especially when Internet is down!
