Port Forwarding on ASG 7.505 doesn't work

Hi all,

I try to set up a port forwarding but it doesn't work.
What do I need? I need three ports incoming from the WAN forwarded to a specific internal IP
What have I done:
under definitons I defined a network called media, type host, internal IP 192.168.100.199, type internal
under services I defined three services (service_4713, service_4712, service_4713) type tcp,destination port 4711/4712 and 4713, with source port 1:65535
under network security i defined three packet filter with source external (WAN) (Network), plus service service_4711, destination media (with the internal IP) and action "allowed".

All traffic gets dropped.

Any idea, help is appreciated.

Okay, as I suspected I don't see any wrong settings there.

I suggest doing some trace routes on the client side and maybe using wireshark to see if packets go out to the correct destination.

Is there a firewall (hardware/software/windows) that might be blocking the communication? Can you reach the astaro using pings or anything else from that client?

Hi Krycek,

I will check that today with the guy. He told me that he can reach my dyndns but could connect through the firewall. As soon as I have him try again (he is working) I let you know. Kind regards,

so it works. Since I didn't schange anything on my side, it must have been the client. We assume that his DSL was broken.
