Is it possible to bond multiple ADSL lines to provide greater bandwith? Using Astaro with multiple LAN cards connected to multiple ASDL routers. Professional Version - Release 5.019
We were looking at purchasing a 4 WAN port model so we could switch from expensive fibre to 2-4 ADSL lines instead to save money. The concerns you highlighted and a drop in price by our fibre provider stopped me buying one.
I'm *guessing* it would mostly be useful for people not serving anything. I think there is a data sheet on the page I posted above. I'd love to test one...
It may well work. Advertising routes would be the tricky bit. At the very least you could probably put all your web sites on one and then use the other lines for office traffic etc..
The Linksys Router seems only to be a Loadbalancing device to use 2 different Internet connections! A Usefull device will be a Router that can Route the sourceadress or better the Protocol i.e. HTTP --> Gateway 1 FTP --> Gateway 2

just set up the first line as normal and add te 2nd one only as an interface without an gateway.
and then add routes to "the other vpn site" using the route 2nd modem as route target.

This is interesting. Has anyone tried this? What do you mean with the VPN? Do you mean that the first line can only be used for VPN and nothing else, or do you mean that it's only possible to use VPN on the first line and not on the 2nd line?
