Terminal service from Internal network to DMZ

Internal network: 192.168.30.x
DMZ: 192.168.20.x

I have a packet filter that allows:
Internal_network , Any--->DMZ_network, any and also a reverse packet for response.

Do I need to do a NAT translation for this also or should the packet filter alone be sufficient?

As it is with just the packet filter it isnt working...Ideas?

Regards,
Jones

  • There is also another form of security in place on my setup that I neglected to discuss.

Both my Local network group and my DMZ are individually masqueraded off the External interface.

Have you ever tried to get a packet through two NATs that are butting their heads against each other?
