Linux box behind ASL ??

Hi !

I'm running a Linux Box and some Windows XP Workstation behind my ASL. The Windows XP Clients Work correctly and succeed to connect to the internet but from the Linux box i don't succeed.

both Windows XP and Linux are in network 192.168.0.0/24

I've made a packet filter rule so as to allow LAN NetWork (192.168.0.0/24) to go to the internet.

Why does my Linux Box doesn't access internet ?

Can someone help me.

    Have you tried to ping an outside ip address instead of trying to do everything by hostname? 

    i.e. try pinging 18.7.21.69 and what do you get?
