IPv4 lease table not clearing of old leases?

Hi,
the leases will age off eventually. The licence count is only an issue if you are reaching a limit of your system otherwise I wouldn't worry.

There are two ways to clear the count quickly, but I only know the details of one and that is to restart the UTM.

one other way is to disable the DHCP Server on the Subnet... and reenable it. 
This will also clear DHCP Lease table...

The only way to clear dhcp leases for ipv4 or ipv6 is to edit the lease table. I really wish they would fix this. It should be possible to leases to be cleared and to force leases to be renegotiated.

Yes, I did. Unless something has changed since I last tried that, it doesn't clear the leases.

Next time I notice an entry in the lease table, I'll give it another try. Not sure when that will be because all of the hosts have assigned addresses.

I had some visitors over last night and there were a few leases left over, three dhcp and one dbcp6. Disabling and enabling dhcp6 cleared the lease. Disabling and enabling dhcp cleared one of three leases, but didn't clear the other two.

The only way I could remove all of the dhcp leases was to remove them from /var/chroot-dhcps/var/state/dhcp.leases.

Did the two you couldn't release belong to devices that were online at the time?
