Multipath rule: how is considered proxied traffic?

Hello,
I plan to use multipath rule. A (simple) question: how is considered proxied traffic coming from, for example, internal network? Can I setup Internal as source?

Thanks

  • Add a reverse DNS entry for MX record (so, ooo.nnn.mmm.lll-in-addr.arpa mail2.mycompany.com)

Strictly speaking, the rDNS record is for the IP, not the MX record.  The rDNS record for both IPs should be the same: mail.company.com.

    1. I assume that your internal network resolves mail.company.com to the internal IP of your mail server, and that public DNS resolves it to the public IP of your first WAN connection.  That should work fine.

    2. Is it clear from my comment about rDNS that this is not a problem?

    Cheers - Bob
