HTTP Proxy Problems in V5

Hi,

we evaluate the 5.0 and 5.01 Version for some days in a live test environment (or you can say: production environment [:)]th the http proxy.

The users are complaining about a lot of pages, which they can not enter because of ASL Proxy errors. One of these pages is for example:
http://www.mail-archive.com/tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org/msg55717.html

This page is viewable with ASL 4.21 without a problem, but with V5.01 and Virus Scan enabled, we alwas get errors.

To the other V5 users: Do you experience the same problems? Can we do anything to avoid this problems?

And by the way: Is there an easy way to exclude some URL's from the proxy?

I am also having a lot of trouble with the http proxy.

It appears very unstable, and if I switch the content filter on, i can't view web pages through it anymore.

I too have been having issues with the HTTP Proxy, it seems that if I set it to standard and have users go through it all web traffic drops. If it is set to transparent the same thing happens.

Are these issues solved with the 5.009 yet? Because I'm also having big problems connecting to the web using the HTTP Proxy...

I think this has something to do with the DNS Proxy. It seems like the Workstation cannot resolve the URL to IP...

Sorry, but that doesn't solve the problem at all...
As I said, the page displays, but VERY slow!!
The ASL v4.022 goes very quick... So it's not an line problem.

this server/page is in clear violation of the HTTP protocol. this is why it is blocked.

I have no problem displaying the site, but it takes like hours before it starts loading the site!

the problem is that the webpage sends an XML comment (???) instead of the HTTP status line. I think this is something the admin of the webpage should hear about. this is a clear violation of the HTTP rfc (rfc1945 and rfc2616)

the problem is, that you don't understand my problem. All sites are working with the HTTP Proxy, but it takes hours after entering the URL to open the site with the 5.010 proxy. No probs in 4.022!

And there's another thing, that confuses me: I'm using Mozilla behind the PARANOID 5.010 HTTP Proxy. But yesterday I got an Cookie Message from Mozilla. Aren't cookies supposed to be blocked?

hm.... the cookies should not get trough.
could you post the following file from your firewall:

/var/chroot-weed/etc/weed/http.xml
