Up2date prefetch failures

Same here!
Seems 9.2 GA starts to rollout this morning so the Up2Date servers could be overloaded.
(Elmar Haag has just informet in the running Sophos Webcast that they start today with the UTM100 series [:D] )

I have had 4 UTMs all bleating about up2date prefetch failures on all 6 servers.

What failed and where?

Why does the system report six authentication servers when it only appears to check each of three servers twice?

Log file, /var/log/up2date.log
Other files of interest in /etc/up2date/

Rollout of what version of 9.2?

None of my UTMs have advised of pending software up2date, I have to assume it is the current soft-release?
Bit strange considering the reported bugs with it and stuff not fixed from beta?

Why does the system report six authentication servers when it only appears to check each of three servers twice?

Other files of interest in /etc/up2date/

The system check the three up2date servers by name first and then falls back to IP addresses. Therefore it's six checks that failed.
Actually it was an update of the update servers which took them offline for a few minutes.

9.2 GA rollout started today. See this blog post: UTM Up2Date 9.2 Released | Sophos Blog
Nevertheless it's a staged rollout so it may take some time until your UTM gets the up2date package.
