HA active/passive issue

Hi,
I'm trying to run Astaro Security Gateway ver 8.311 in HA mode. After setting it up the dashboard confirms that there are two nodes in the cluster, but my slave box would fail to update. Here is the error in the HA log :

Connect (file descriptor 6): node 2 (198.19.250.2)
Request (file descriptor 6): CONNECT 184.72.238.199:443 HTTP/1.0
No proxy for 184.72.238.199
opensock: Could not establish a connection to 184.72.238.199
no entity

It would show this error for the other update servers it tries to connect to as well. Also recently I found out that as soon as my slave connects in HA I would lose internet connection. That coupled with the update error I'm guessing some sort of DNS issue when the slave is connected. I've read the thread on the virtual mac issue, but I'm not running Astaro virtually. Hope you guys can help me get this running.

No, in order to get access I would need to deactivate HA and reboot my main box.

Just found out this morning Astaro has a ping tool and with HA on I could not ping any IP outside of my LAN.

In other words, you rebooted it while leaving the Master off, and the Slave did not connect? It sounds like you have a hardware problem with that node.
