UTM 9.104 Soft-Released

    I'm holding off on these for now, until the GA release. Just too confusing as far as what's fixed vs. what's broken. I hope the GA comes soon though!

    Hi ,

    Sorry I was not clear about the versions .
    9.104 won't be GA as 9.104 case lots of people already install it and suffer from major bug like the SSL VPN TEMOTE ACCESS.
    If the ver will stay the same so they won't be able to fix those issues with up2date.
    So when it come GA it will come with a new ver .
    New ver will be called 9.105 or already 9.2.

    9.2 should bring significant changes ... I'm waiting for Transparent Proxy with authentication via SSO (AD).

    for now ... 9.105 is good! :-P

    Gilipeled, I don't know where you get your information from but there will be a 9.104 GA release. Since v9 we're able to re-release versions because we introduced a longer version number (6 digits after the dot). So there will be an U2D from 9.103 to 9.104 GA as well as from 9.104 soft-release to 9.104 GA release. As it is since v9.

    Hi ,

    The answer for what you wrote is directly from the high level support team that I am in touch with them daily in Skype .
    But it does not really mater.
    The version as it is available now won't come GA.
    It has few major bugs and can not be Release and won't be release as is.
    It can be like you say 9.104-8 for example but the information I got from them is that it will be probably 9.105 .

    We won't simply skip a version, we're not Mozilla, Microsoft or similar [:)]

    As already said, there will be a 9.104 GA, of course with the SSL VPN issue resolved.

    Hi ,

    And one more little thing.
    If I misunderstood the info I got from the support , and I gave wrong info then I am sorry for that.
    I am trying my best to give all the info I know , I gave full access to the support for my big environment to test and fix issues in live and on very big production site.
    I am installing new releases even when they are soft releases just to help solving issues in live and big production sites with lots of users and clusters.
    So once again , if I gave wrong info I apologies for that.
    All the info I give and all the help and solutions for others is the most occurrent ii can give.

    I passed on the conversation on Skype again.
    And yes I was wrong :-)
    I was all day on the cluster issue not stopping to sync with dev.
    And I asked if this issue is fixed and I already have the 9.104 what will happen when the 9.104 is released case I have already a fixed new MDW that fixed the ssl VPN issue and if a cluster issue will also fixed in my system .
    I did not get correctly the answer.
    So here it is , cluster issue won't be fixed on 9.104 GA it will only fixed in 9.105 or 9.2 and 9.104 will be replaced before GA.

    So sorry everyone.

    Is this a Cluster issue only, or also with Hot-Standby.
