UTM 9.103 Soft-Released

Hi ,

As I already post on another thread .
There is a problem with high SWAP.
This is still not fixed with the latest release too.
It is happening in very strong appliances too.
Support and dev working on it.
The cause is SNORT , and it was not fixed even with last release.
I saw this behavior in lots of installations ,
Swap going to 60-70% after few days.
It is confirmed by the high level support.

There is still a bug when someone connects to a SSID and then connects to another that their IP does not change when you click on "Wireless Networks" on WebAdmin.  While the end-user does have the correct IP address, it isn't correct on the main page for Wireless Networks.

"The wireless dashboard is showing erroneous data and development has confirmed bug in mantis id 24627. They should fix it in a future firmware update, but we do not have an ETA yet,"

I'm seeing growth in /var/storage from 16% to 47% in eight days.  The culprit appears to be /var/storage/pgsql92/data.  Is anyone else seeing this?  I'll submit a support request.

NOTE: False Alarm!  I thought I had an 80GB drive in our Compaq, but I remember now replacing it with a 20GB drive when we upgraded to V8 so that we could go back quickly to V7 if needed.  This is exactly the issue Bill points out in a post below.

this mantis id is differant but i have same kind of problem in beta which will be fixed in 9.2 

do you have static ip configure for your wireless clients try to create "touch"  (try to edit or recreate same network  it work for me )it again

If you are home user can you please run this  (rpm  mention below )command ,i have multiple files with same file 

mozilla-nspr-chroot-4.9.5-0.3.1.76.g3fa4edb 

or i am missing something ? 


 # rpm -qa --last |head -n 200 |grep -i mozilla-nspr-chroot

Did you get any response?  Only data that I have is in pg_xlog directory which I found during the beta https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/80/t/64883 and they tuned it a little bit.

Otherwise the usage seems the same from previous 9.1 versions

gatekeeper:/var/log # du -ch /var/storage/pgsql92/data/pg_xlog

12K     /var/storage/pgsql92/data/pg_xlog/archive_status

1.7G    /var/storage/pgsql92/data/pg_xlog

1.7G    total

That's it, Bill.  Sophos Support looked a bit last week and then a senior guy looked at it today.  He hasn't gone in at the CLI yet, but maybe he got what he needed out of the log files.  I hope they're able to identify the issue from MediaSoft's 9.103.
