UTM 9.103 Soft-Released

Hi guys,
there is a new update on the FTP server [:)]
Has anyone installed this update? 

Up2Date information	

News

·		Bugfix Release

·		Fixed: Permission errors for auditor rules

·		Changed: Better adapt IPS configuration to machine capabilities

·		Changed: Notifications for Site-to-Site VPN and RED tunnels are separate

·		Changed: Wifi channel 165 is available in Taiwan 



Remarks

·		System will be rebooted

·		Configuration will be upgraded

·		Connected Wifi APs will perform firmware upgrade



Bugfixes

24922		after reboot syslogng was not started

    Hi ,

    It is supposed to fix few thing and have http optimization.
    The most important thing that is killing systems is the SNORT .
    According to Sophos it will be fix soon with a pattern up2date that will do SNORT optimization.
    I can say that even with a very strong cluster of 525 UTMs I am suffering a lot from MEM and swap because of the HTTP proxy and SNORT.
    I am working closely with the support and dev on optimizing those issues.

    how can I remove an automatically downloaded patch from my astaro?

    EDIT:
    simply uploaded the file from FTP into my astaro (timestamp ftp: 83022 KB  09.07.2013  16:51:00 )
    as far as I can see it is the same http proxy rpm version 

    ep-httpproxy-9.10-70.gb848cab.i686.rpm

    Hi ,

    Auto download are only GA Versions.
    Soft release are never auto-download.
    Anyway , you can remove it with SSH to your system and delete the up2date files.

    Hi,
    9.103-5 was pushed to UTM today.
    The notes provided with today's release talk about auto IPS optimization for CPU type. 
    The manual release of 9.103-5 advised that the IPS optimisation would be released in a later update.
    So, how can two versions have the same number with different functionality?

    There are apparently a ton of bugfixes, etc. that are in this version but not in the list with the release ... does anyone have a more comprehensive list?  Particularly interested in the SSL VPN Compression with older VPN Clients issue, and the TLS Negotiation issue in the SMTP proxy that popped up in 9.100 (was slated for 9.103).

    Can somebody approve that http proxy ver 9.10 -75(!) is in this up 2 date or in the up2date on ftp???

    I upgraded to patch last night and now getting 80% CPU load.... from avg of 5-10%

    at this point wait for the up2date to auto download to your utm..don't pull it off hte ftp just yet.

    Does this mean, that the softrelease is chanced to GA-Release?
    Is there a differenz between the Releases? (The file-date on the ftp is new 9th july)

    Should the GA be installed new?

    it is already auto-downloaded but in the txt it shows the old proxy rpm so the update will fail like others reported here before.

    I installed the newer rpm manually because of 100% CPU usage of http proxy
