Pattern Up2date Won't Update

All-

I am running UTM 9.101-12 on a core2 duo with 8 gb of ram. The following entries appear in the up2date log as shown below. The UTM would not update patterns from 46645 to the latest version. When placing pattern update in manual mode yesterday it indcated version 47103 was available. However I had to set the time to every 15 minutes as patterns can only update automaticaly. I tried a number of different things to force the update but was unsucessful. The only thing which did work was to reload the software and reinstall the config file. The update went forward absent of issue. Today version 47111 is availabe but again no way to update. No external proxy is set. Forcing an update from cli does not work the same results are yielded. My hair is now in a small pile on the floor....

    I rebooted 36 hours ago; I hadn't seen any duplicate process messages, and I checked a while after the reboot and it still didn't update, but it has done so since:

    Do you have anything partially downloaded / not applied in /var/up2date directory. Whats the output of 
    du -ch /var/up2date
     All those directories should be empty.

    The firmware updates are ok in the sys folder. I don't know why there is a difference between what is downloaded compared to whats installed. Maybe Bob or one of the other partners can clarify that by talking to their sources.

    OK, thanks.

    Regarding duplicate up2date processes, I don't have ANY up2date processes running right now.

    The up2date did receive an man9 update several days ago. However is still does not update the IPS patterns.... The only way to get the most recent update is to reload the iso, and restore the config. Current version is 47408. While I am sure there is an answer we just did not get there yet. Time to rethink the issue. Maybe the answer is lies in what did not change.

    IPS patterns aren't like malware patterns and don't always change on a short cycle like daily or shorter intervals

    can you manually update to 9.103 and see if that fixes things?

    I've seen too many reports here of WiFi AP problems in 9.1x; can't afford to loose wifi [:)]
