is that a normal "Soft Release"?

I did not see one of those ususal "Sticky" Soft Release Threads...

    Hi ,

    I hope everything is fine with your environment.
    I thought of another thing that can help a lot your system.
    Please look how much snort_inline processes are running on your system.
    SSH to your UTM or in console and run top.
    Please let it run and look for the amount of processes .
    Snort is taking lots of RAM and SWAP , in system without enough RAM that can be a pain .
    If after all the suggestions we gave you there is still RAM/SWAP issue maybe reducing the snort processes will help you.
    Be aware that it is done from command line with cc do it might break your warranty .

    v8 really requires 2 gigs to work decently with http proxy and ips online.  v9 really requires 4.

    I am totally agree with you and that's what I told from the beginning of this thread :-)
    But that's what he has and we are trying our best to help him .
    We did some tweaks that helped a lot for his system , and I am trying to help even more.
    But as you said and as I also said few times in this thread , 1Gb is very problematic .

    Hi Gilipeled,

    Unfortunately, the Firewall is still not working properly.
    I still have http-proxy errors every 2 to 12 hours
    (before it was 2 to 4 hours, well it's getting better...)

    I'll be back beginning next week with some news
    and try to test with the snort-processes.

    ... my own current workload is also up to 100% :-) but I can't stop and restart it...

    Look what I wrote , please SSH to your system and run top.
    How much snort_inline processes you see there ?
    If there are few of them we can help a lot your system by reduce therm.
    Another question , do you think there is a way to add RAM to your system ?
    If you will be able to add at least 1 more GB it will do a big difference.
    But please inform about snort first.
