Small and energy eficient config for Home Use PC

Hello,

in my last job, i used to manage several Astaro boxes and i really got to love the product. I used my home license in virtual box as testbench. I'm now moving to a new house and have contracted FTTH. I'd love to use one PC as an Astaro box for my home use, but i know that my wife will reject anything big and/or noisy.

Do you know of any small and cheap barebone I could get my hands on for that use. I think that with a dual atom and 2 GB RAM i would be ok for the 100 Mbps traffic with some IPS. I remeber some time ago i saw a post about some small chassis on ebay with the mobo at a really cheap price.

    Logic Supply is another really good source for mini-ITX stuff (got my Atom there).

    BTW, the system in the previous post uses RealTek NICs, which aren't the best.
    I saw a system on Logic Supply with a similar motherboard (JetWay), but with an Intel NIC module instead.

    I've read articles and forum posts regarding the spotty (sometimes) Linux drivers for Realtek NICs, but have never had any issues myself. Although, given the choice I'll get Intel NICs.

    Until I saw the Intel based daughter boards on Logic Supply, I thought they were only available with ReakTek chips.

    I'd very much like to build a mini-ITX system, but I just can't spare the $300+ to build one. I'm using an old P4 2.8GHz Dell desktop with a few (you guessed it) Intel NICs.
