Astaro upgrade - slow network performance

Hi guys,

Last friday we proceeded to upgrade our ASG320 from v7 to v8.

Does anyone have experienced slow performance since the upgrade ?
The firmware version is 8.102, I´m waiting 6 pm to upgrade the next version until 8.300.

It has 2 GB of RAM.

how about pinging machines on the same switch..do you still see the large delays?

I have 1ms responses from PCs on the same switch, that´s why I suspect that Astaro has sth to do with this. Also, Astaro´s CPU performance is around 30-40-60 % which is not usual....

Now I´m worried. I reached firmware 8.300 and the problem is the same.

Do you know which command could I use to see logs through SSH ?
The engineer that helps me with Astaro in Panama seems to be busy. Once, I saw him using a command from SSH where you can see Astaro´s activity.

as root,
cd /var/log
ls
tail -f

where logfile is packetfilter.log, ips.log, ...

This is my asg320 hardware specifications....

I deactivated IPS service and guess what...responses were 1ms.

Please, do not tell me that my hardware specifications are not sufficient to support all services

No, but I bet you've made a mistake like the one I made when I first started... What do you have listed in 'Local networks' on the 'Global' tab of 'Intrusion Prevention'?
