  • Hi AngeloC

There is a cosmetic issue under the pop3 section.(Not sure if this was introduced with 8.203 version as I've never tested it before. However judging by the change log introduced it seems that the cosmetic is there for a while [:)] )
I have attached the pic which shows the cosmetic "IP-Address" instead of "IP Address"

    Thanks
  • Hello

does this also solve the problem of DHCP renewal.

    The one here

"If you are affected by this issue, you can run the following commands as root on your ASG:
    Code:
    wget http://people.astaro.com/uweber/mantis_19139/dhcp_updown.plx
    mv /var/chroot-dhcpc/usr/sbin/dhcp_updown.plx /var/chroot-dhcpc/usr/sbin/dhcp_updown.plx.org
    mv dhcp_updown.plx /var/chroot-dhcpc/usr/sbin/dhcp_updown.plx
    chmod a+x /var/chroot-dhcpc/usr/sbin/dhcp_updown.plx
    "
  • does this also solve the problem of DHCP renewal.

No, I'm afraid. v8.203 only contains fixes for Reporting, SMTP RDNS & HTTP-Proxy.

The problem you describe (Mantis #19139) is already fixed in v8.300 beta. If that fix is urgent for you, try the beta.
  • Think I've found a bug -- while it does appear to have fixed the ability of the web reporting system to email reports (this was broken in 8.2xx on our production installation) scheduled daily reports, when emailed by the system at 12:45AM, do not appear to be using data from the previous day, rather, it uses data from the "current day" which is about 45 minutes after midnight -- resulting (in our case, we aren't here that late thankfully) in a blank report.  You can reference Ticket #2011101710000946 if that helps.

  • Hi there Bruce.

  • Thanks... figured something simple like using the right date range for a report query would be something they'd fix in this up2date.

  • Whatever you guys did to the HTTP proxy in 8.203 it now feel snappy again! Equal or even better than in 8.1XX.

    GOOD JOB! Thanks you

  • Hi folks,
currently running 8.203 on one of my ASGs.

I downloaded a ISO from about 2200 to approximately 0200. The ISO has been used to do installations, the ISP has sent messages that I have nearly reached my limit, I was using the USB wireless.

I have lost in the reporting system about 4gb of data. The network graph shows the traffic both sides of midnight, but the daily totals and the top 10 sites don't show much more than about 70mb.

  • Ian, are you maybe having the download issue where the Proxy keeps trying to download something that times out after awhile?  Alan Toews solved that.

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi Bob,
nothing like that. I downloaded a 4gb file which the network graphs show, but nothing else does.
