Install fails after selecting time zone

I'm trying to install ASG on a custom built PC. Install boots up fine, I pick the keyboard type and then it asks for the time zone. I pick US/Eastern, and it stops with 'BUG at hwdb.c:506'. 
This is the last few lines of the log:

It would appear that it's failing to set the hardware clock, but I don't know why. Ubuntu didn't have a problem with it, nor did RedHat Enterprise.

    Ok, I just downloaded it again, and it still does it. Both MD5s are the same.

    Hello,

    I encounter the absolutely same problem at the same part of the installation! Used the german keymap and timezone Europe/Berlin. Log displays the same besides the different timezone: 

    user.info bootstrap: /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Berlin: No such file or directory



    SYSTEM: Oracle VirtualBox 3.2.6 r63112 (newest version)
    DOWNLOAD: Today (07/06/2010)
    MD5-CHECK: Ok

    I also just tried it in VirtualBox (both OSE and non-OSE) and VMWare. Exact same problem. Is it maybe a bug in the current version? Anywhere to post bug reports?

    What version are you downloading- V7 or V8?

    It has been a couple of days since the last post. Does anyone have any ideas as to what can be done, or am I up the creek without a paddle?

    I'm having the same problem after the Time Zone settings page.  I'm using VMWare ESXi v4. I tried it twice.  First time setting the time zone info, the second, leaving the time zone info alone.  Failed both times with this error. Hopefully someone can come up with an answer.

    I don't know if this is related but yesterday I was attempting to install a virtual ASG v. 8 (Vmware Server 2.01) and had the same problem.  I'm pretty sure I didn't select a USB controller on the VM configuration and installation failed many times before I walked away.  

    It was odd because I was recreating the device after making a settings change and locking myself out of the console (hey, that's why I am testing/training) so I had successfully created a virtual device before.  

    This moring I started again, this time I installed a USB controller during the installation configuration process and I am right now installing v. 8 on Vmware server 2.01

    I may have another setting that was wrong and is now right and your mileage  may vary, but for now, IT'S WORKING!!!

    You're right. I tried that in VMWare Server and it works. However, that doesn't explain the error in a physical machine. I'm going to download v7 later and see if it works that way, then I'll just try to upgrade.

    BUG at hwdb.c:506 means there was no suitable hard-disk found.

    So either your hard-disk was not detected or is not large enough. Minimum HD size is 10GB.
