eth1 not enabled

Setting up the astaro 220 for the first time.  I have set all interfaces as applicable to our environment and have the eth0 & eth2 interfaces connecting without a problem.  eth1 (WAN port) has no link or activity lights.  I have made sure all the interface are "Enabled" in Webadmin (Green lights), but still have no link.  Any ideas?

    I'll take that as a compliment.   

    I write technical documentation for a living these days,
    so I tend to write up technical issues in a somewhat pedantically explicit fashion.
