First Time Help

Seem to be having some trouble here...
obviously this will be my first firewall...
here's the config...

Cisco 2600 \ NAT \ 200.1.2.3 (static leased line)
internal  10.1.7.50 \ 16
|
HUB
 |
ASL Box
eth1 10.2.7.10\16   GW=none
eth0 10.1.1.250 \16  GW =none
  |
Switch
  |
Host

I get nothing when I ping from Host to Router in this config.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Except, we are leasing this router and the cats who are supposed to be "supporting" us, won't give out much ionformation.  So, all I know of is the external address and the 10.1.x.x range.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Besides checking the masquerade rule (consult the help that you've got it right; many people get it wrong!), what are your firewall rules? (packetfilter) Besides pinging, what do you mean by "get out"??

    From both the Tools portion of the WebAdmin interface and the shell I can effectively ping a host on the internet (www.yahoo.com) as far as rules, I have none, since I do not have this up and running as of yet.
    Tomorrow I wil take the suggestion of NAT'ing the private network and see  if that works...

    All the ICMP should be on;
    and the internal servers need to have their gateways set to Astaro.

    If you need more than pinging, you need rules...

    Man you guys were sooooo helpful thank you!  
    I enabled the Masquerading, 
    Set up the rules
    and then....
    nothing
    As it turns out, a little helper here at work had added the router as a second gateway with a metric of 2, to my PC.  Once that was removed.  BAM!  
    Really thank you for all your help.
