auto up2date

Hi folks,

i don't know if this is your solution,
but in my case the solution was very simple:

First, it didn't work in my case, too.
After pressing the 'SAVE' button beneath the period parameter, i could also enable the automatic pattern update.

I think, there is no default value for the interval set, so enabling the automatic update must fail !!     

I would hope, that this was your problem, too    [:)]

I can confirm that installing a fresh version 2.o and then updating it work for the auto up2date.

BTW, i updated from 1.825.
It was no 'fresh' installation.

This works good for the german version. Perhaps it is 'on' for the international version.

I XP the same problem. I already changed the /etc/wfe/conf/up2datedata to
Server: 128.242.218.125
PatternStatus: an
PatternIntervall: Woche

It did not help! I really would be pleased if the problem gets resolved by an update. Especially since I licenced the virus scanner.

Hi all,

sorry but i can't confirm this error....
For further checks i need cat /etc/wfe/conf/up2datedata, the running version and you initial install version (1.811 or 2.000).
