Hi, i am new to Sophos UTM 9 and playing with this firewall from a week or so. i just want to configure some basic rules which i am unable to do so. i have experience with pfsense and untangle but this one is different. what i am trying to achieve is that: allow all traffic to network block some websites which includes (facebook, linkedin, twitter etc) both http & https. block p2p softwares i have figured out how to allow a single host or a network. when i am using this with Transparent Mode it does not allow https request and returns the certificate is not trusted error(cannot even open gmail.com). when i try this with standard mode it does nothing(google is not even accessible). tried both with "none" authentication mode. Thanks in advance.

You also must import the CA into Firefox and IE.

@Bob...i tried to import CA into firefox and the results are same (trust issue), whereas same CA is working on chrome and IE. i have searched different forums but no luck yet my firefox version is 23.0.1.
one more issue is that i cannot use the new skype(msn messenger & skype) version 6.6.0.106. i tried searching and followed different URL's one of which is as follows:

any idea what could be the problem i tried to add skype in application protocol as well but same results.

ok i was able to login to skype (microsoft and skype both) but unable to send and receive any messages. i used socks5 with authentication.
any suggestions.
