block phones from wifi during certian events

okay so i've got a list of all the phones as network definitions and then in a group called phones

then i have a firewall rule that says

source: phones service: any destination: any ipv4

but yet the phones still connect

1) what am i doing wrong
2) is there a better way block them from the wifi all together?

Yes in using statc dhcp rules with host definitions to name them all

Etc

Then I made a group and placed them all in there
Group: " phone dump"

Phone dump -> any -> any = drop

But I'm doing this on my phone now sooooo.

I'm also open to a way to just reject them from the wifi ap to start with

Can you verify that the static definitions are working?
e.g. do they have the expected IPs?

I don't know of a way to block by MAC, but you could at least put them in a bogus network if you wanted.
The firewall rule should work though.
