No connectivity - kind of ;-)

Hi,

Just installed the latest ISO and things seems to work mostly except for Internet access from any LAN clients to the Internet. Internet access from the Astaro unit itself is working without problem.

Notes:

I have all modules turned off except Firewall (Could not find out how to turn it off)
The routing table currently looks like this:

Is there any reason this should not just work?

    Actually I've no idea WHY you have no connection (however I'd remove rule 1)
    Hopefully any one else can help....

    This is getting more interesting (at least for me). I did a clean install of this software figuring I might have done something weird during the setup. Obviously this is not the case as a blind Monkey having it's hands tied could perform the install. I selected to use all components and I am stuck in the exact same place with the same result. Being a bit paranoid at this point I plugged in a Linksys BEF41 using the same IP settings as this test Astaro unit and VIOLA there was connectivity. I must admit I will probably select a different devices since I am having such problems even though, proved by it's install base, this should be a solid unit.

    Try installing without uploading the license.   Did that make a difference?

    This is a good point but made no difference in my case. However, if I selected the license file upon install I could not finish the initial setup wizard as the Finish button became "unlinked". If I do not select the license the install works as intended.

    Have you enabled pings on the 'ICMP' tab of Firewall?

    What brand+model of NIC do you have for your Colt interface, and to what is it connnected?

    what kind of connectivity you have???
    is there a modem briged or ppoe???

    If so I see wrong MTU size here

    Hi guys,

    If you f*&^&%$^&%k up you should admit to it so that the rest of the community do not have to keep wondering if their suggestions worked or not :-)

    This was caused by sticky fingers in a local routing rule I had on my test network which caused my test network not to get internet access.

    I appreciate all the suggestions. I did learn more about this device in the process.
