The goal would be to keep the firewall admins (Customer sites) out of the core files and only in the gui. The simple way to do this would be to add a custom DHCP option in the admin panel.
There should be, for example, a possibility to clear all the expired leases out of the lease table, this for doubles(eg. a pc that shows up once with hostname, once with [unknown]), one time authorized pc's that ever since have been gone out of the network (eg visiting clients/prospects/partners using the public wlan)
For example, Avaya IP phones require option 176 to work properly.
This is probably equivalent to option 150 on Cisco IP phones. This is the IP address of the Call Manager server which the phone TFTPs it's config from.
We also need DHCP option 66 & 67 for Windows Deployment Server to work. WDS is on the server subnet and the clients are on a remote subnet so having the ability to set DHCP option 66 & 67 would be great.
I too would like to see these features. More specifically I am looking for options 66 and 67 for a POC of provisioning server. These options need to be set for the bootp and tftp options required to stream and OS.
