home user license upgrade?

i've been a loyal astaro user ever since version 2, and have purchased the home user license every year in an effort to do what i can to support astaro.

however, i am now at the point where 10 IP's is just plain not enough anymore.  with IP connected printers, PDAs, friends utilizing the occasional wireless address, and the purchase of a new PC and laptop (and finding uses for the old hardware) i am easily exceeding the 10 IP limit.

what are my options for an upgrade?  there is no way i am paying the 680EUR for a 25 IP commercial version in my house, but i would be willing to pay some reasonable amount for an expanded home user license.

what even happened to the power user license?

    I don't know how any home user can pass 10 connections.

    Use the HTTP proxy, then they don't get counted, use the POP3 proxy too, then they don't get counted.

    Only machines directly accessing stuff on the net count, I think most home users with this issue are not using the product correctly.

    Why would you want a printer directly accessing the net?
    Hint: Dont use ASL's DHCP server

    Don't use the ASL as a gateway, in fact don't set a gateway for machines/printers/appliances that don't need access to the internet, as others have said, if they need some access then use the proxy's

    If you do that then they won't show up on the list of IP's

    LAN Party's (3-10 computer's)
    File-Web Server
    Computer in Living Room
    Computer in Kitchen area
    Computer for each of 5 person household
    Computer in any number of other rooms.
    Etc.   It's real easy to get to 20 pc's accessing the internet in today's average home.

    My license is runing out on 01/06/2007 whats then?

    i don't want to buy a license for one year and just use the half functions of them...

    Remember also that it won't be long (and in some cases is happening now) that many of the devices we use in our homes will use the Internet for reporting, diagnosticts, etc.  I.e. your refigerator could e-mail you a daily temperature report.  Smarthomes.com has many devices that use the Net as part of their function so sooner or later 10 IP's won't be enough.

    Up2date and (currently) IPS updates are available in the free home-user license.

    Yes i know. But these features are timely limited. My license key shows this: Up2Date Service     Valid from 01/06/2004 until 01/06/2007

    so i think, that i am not able to download new up2date packages after this date???
    Can i reactivate these feature if it runs out for free?

    By that time Astaro v8 might be out so you can backup your version, download Astaro v8, apply for a new home license, install Astaro v8, import old settings, configure new settings, done!
