IPv6 support

Dear *,

does anybody knows anything about the support of IPv6 in Astaro?
I read that it is not support in the current version, but the question is when will it be supported? Because Linux itself is working well with it...

Everybody is talking about IPv6 but I think as long as the required devices will not support IPv6...how should it be driven into the front row?

ASG V8 Beta supports IPv6 and it is available NOW!

I have downloaded ASG8 and I have my own native IPv6 subnet. Booting from ISO file and during the initial setup routine I am asked for the IP address of the interface(s). I tried to enter the IPv6 address but ASG 8 is not accepting IPv6 addresses format. Do I miss somemthing here ?

It's possible that for initial setup, you still need to use IPV4

Correct I had to skip the IPv6 initial setup for the public interface. I just configured the internal IPv4 interface. After the installation had finished and rebooted I was able to apply the IPv6 address through the Webadmin GUI.
