p-2 350 196 pc-100(have tried with 256 megs) http, dhcp, dns, pop3(unusable due to attachments hanging mr. popper) NAT all going. witht he exception of the pop3 error and having to manually edit some squid config files to chop ram usage runs fine. Waiting on pop3 fixes..[:)]
Dual PPro 200, 128MB RAM, 10GB If I make too many config changes, or work in busy areas of WebAdmin (IPS rules) it gets a little slow. Other than that it runs fine. Network speed is great for the 3M/256k cable link and internal routing between DMZ and internal networks (100MBit). Running HTTP, DNS, SMTP (with spam filtering) proxies, DHCP, IPSEC & PPTP VPNs. Could be faster if I added RAM (not-so-cheap EDO SIMMs) but I am happy with it as long as I pace any config changes.
Runs good since installing from 5.007 ISO Image. Before I had problems... There´s one problem left I hope this will never occur in V5.009 which is currently running here.
Host : PIV-1.6, 512 Mb, 2 HD (9 & 18 Gb) ASL image : PIV-1.6, 128 Mb, 1 HD (8 Gb in auto-extend mode, currently only 2 Gb used) ASL CPU load about 11% of host CPU, the last 11 days
Everything's fine apart from external IP's showing in licences
single PIII 700, 256meg RAM, 9gig SCSI drive connected to an Adaptec 2940U2W, 1 x twin port e100 nic (although only using 1 port as I'm doing VLAN trunking to a switch so I can support external, internal, dmz, and wireless networks) asl 5.008, soon to be 5.009 (tonight maybe [;)] )
i tried to get it working on ibm desktop 300pl but without success. i installed on pIII 1.2ghz 1gb ram 20 gb hd 5 nics. performance very good. only with viewing logs its little slow.
