[9.191][BUG] OTP enabled -> username case sensitive

I was unable to reproduce this issue:
According to my information the username should always be (and have been) case sensitive for local users.
But the username should always be case insensitive for _remote_ (i.e. authenticated via backend) users. Actually it was case sensitive before 9.170, if OTP was enabled, but this bug should be fixed since then.
If you still experience this problem, is it possible for you to provide access to your machine so we can have a closer look at it?

no it's a locally authenticated user. I can repro it on my box everytime. My username is Franc. Login on with that and my PW+OTP I'm allowed access. When login on using 'franc' I'm presented with the QR-code screen.

When I disable OTP. Then I can logon successfully with either Franc and franc and of course using my password only.

I think I've found the issue. Remote authentication is enabled using Active Directory. In active directory I have also a user called Franc with the same password. Under users on UTM I've a user Franc which is locally authenticated.

I've also a group called 'Active Directory Users' on UTM which authenticated AD users. I think this causes the issue since the user Franc both exists in AD and locally on UTM.

After discussing this with the developer extensively, we also agree that this issue is related to your other report ("OTP tokens keep being created") and same fix should apply here, too.
